Hey guys,
Just had some problem with afr ratio unstable, so I went on testing my injectors.
Those are RC's 550 P/N 01D069B.
It looks like during previous installation it was pressed into manifold seal real hard, causing the seal damage. It looks like the OEM seal inside diameter is too small for this injector.

Is it the right injector to use for a d16? Or there any other RC's that will feat better?

Futhermore, I afraid that there is excesive distance between manifold and injector tip, causing it spray incorrectly?

Any help will be appreciated.
Thanks!

I have those same exact injectors in my turbo setup.

Yes the o-rings are too small for the injectors.

To make them fit the oem seals, I used a step drill bit from harbor freight. Bore them out and it will work perfectly. No spray issue.

Thanks you!
It's probably what i'll do.
But just for our knowledge, do you know if any other seal will fit directly with no mods?
It's pretty weired that RC made the injector in the wrong size.

Also, should I use any other grommet on top of the injector? Or I'll be fine without any? The OEM ones just squeezes to death in there.

The top o-ring on the injector fit perfect in the fuel rail for me.

Remember never dry fuck, use plenty of lube like WD-40.

The o-ring is ok. What I meant was the grommet below it. You can see it in the pics.
