my buddys got a y7 in his 96 hatch and is needing a tb. he is putting on a z6 intake mani at the and it didnt come with a tb. i found him a h23 tb. will this work? thanks

try it ummmmmmmm no i aint buyin it then trying it if it isnt goin to fit.

that works for me i guess i didnt know if h22 and h23 tbs where the same or not.

he said he has the Z6 manifold, so im sure he converted all that.

Yeah b should work. I am running tb from b series on my z6. Plug and play

If he's running an OBD2 ecu, there is nothing to convert.

The engine is a Y7, so the stock ECU requires a 3-wire IACV. Even if you rewire, the ECU will not recognize the 2-wire IACV.

The only OBD2 ecu that would run a 2-wire IACV is the P2P, but then it would throw multiple codes on a y7 engine because it wold not be able to find a knock sensor, oil pressure sensor, and vtec solenoid.

The only way a B or an H throttle body would work on a Y7 is if he converted to a non-vtec OBD1, which he might have, it wasn't mentioned.

ok how about a complete GSR 95 throttle body complete with Fast idle
valve/TPS/map sensor and its inperfect working condition.
