My setup is a d16a6 with y8 head

I am degreeing my cam and have done so without vtec "locked in" I need to check it now with vtec locked in. I would like to use air pressure instead of jamming the pins to hold the rockers together. Crower said that Intake Centerline should be the same for both vtec and non vtec lobes of the cam but I want to double check my measurements and I need to check my valve to piston clearance.

Now I have tried several ports and also energizing my vtec solenoid along with using air but nothing seems to work.

If anyone can tell me how to use air pressure to lock the 3 rockers together and engage vtec, please do.

hey bro whats up,
thanks for the 2 cents on the cam degreeing...
The only way i know is to manually lock the pin and spin the engine for piston to valve clearance...but u shouldn't be worried...i got rollerwave pistons that are 12:1 and my head and block are decked like yours and still i had clearance when the motor rotated. Also this was done on a crower stage 3 cam and i think urs stage 2...
