These are in a sense stock replacements for the dohc ZC. I doubt they will raise the compression if any, and have heard they are cast not forged.

They raise compression if placed into other motors because there the highest dome. I'm just stating what I've heard people say about them. I never used them - go for 50-180 on ebay from quit-quit and aftermarket go for at least 400. Something just does't seem right.

I ordered the same package from a different seller on ebay, for my usdm d16a1. These pistons do not raise the compression ratio, what gains in compression I made came from my head getting decked. I read 220psi on my compression check after the rebuild, if I remember correctly. Anyways, they are cast aluminium, I wouldn't run boost on these bad boys. They are great stock replacements, so if your ok with keeping your ratio the same, go for it.

If you have a ZC motor you already have these pistons in there. They are basically a p29 or pm7 piston.

Now if you have an a6/z6/y8 block and use the stock rods, they will raise your compression from approx 9:1 to 12:1.

Basically that is what I'm going to be doing to my recently aquired a6 block....getting the stock rods shot peened and having the shop install the domed pistons on the rods.

This link should help you out...

BTW...your pistons are aluminum....if you want it to rev faster go with a lightened flywheel.
