One of my friends has a 92-95 civic h/b with a D15 in it. I have a D15B2 from an 88-91 civic h/b. Will the B2 just drop right into his h/b? I know some of the sensors would have to be swapped and the dizzy too. His D15 that he has now has a burnt valve and the D15B2 that I have is in good condition with only 100K on it.
It should,Just swap everything from the d15 in his car over to your motor and should work just fine,Im planning to run b7 stuff on my b2 so i can be obd1.
he actually replaced one already. Its got a lot of miles on it too. its not hard to pull a d-series engine out. the one that i am going to give him is in much better condition
also, would the timing belt cover from the D15 that he has now work with the D15B2?
