Well, maybe I'm late to the party but innovative mounts does not make a correct mount for our cars. It claims that the mount they sell "replacing 50810-SH3-040" indeed does not. Was planning on fabricating a mount to make it work but alas, I don't have the time at the moment. Anyone know who makes a correct mount?

Have you reached out to them to see what the deal is, and why? Is this a known issue circulating around Al Gore's internet?

When you say "our cars" what year/make/model car do you have? An engine swap?

What's your location? If you're nearby, I'd fix it/refab it for you

Near Hard Rock and the fairgrounds, that I4 stretch right before I75 was my ripper section haha, hardly no cops during light rush hour.

yep, Ive gotten 2 or 3 tickets in that stretch lol. the last time I seen the troopers waaaayyyy before the casino so I let of the throttle. when I seen them, I was like 125, when I passed em, I was like 90 lol. they lit me up and asked me if I knew how fast I was going. "before or after I saw you?" lady said she got me at 93 but wrote me for 87 lol.

It's always Florida where I've done most of my stupid shit in cars, going too fast on public roads haha.

10 years ago I was halfway between Tampa and Leesburg on I75 in my prelude at 2AM on a Sunday, trooper pulled me over after doing 140 on an incredibly open stretch of highway, no traffic at all. Guy was PISSED, and asked me what the hell the rush was... I told him I'd never broken 100 in the car yet, and that I only wanted to do it in an area where the only risk was killing myself and not others. He gave me a warning, said the only reason I wasn't in cuffs was because there was literally no cars around for minutes at a time, and told me if he ever caught me going that fast again I'd be in jail lol... bought a good radar detector after that, but never really went that fast again for a really long time.

Sorry for jacking the thread OP!

There's two threaded bosses on the cross member, one orientation is for automatic clearance, the other is for manual. I can't remember which orientation is which, but the cross member should have provisions for both so that innovative mount should still bolt up, what problem are you having with it?

Update: Innovative finally got back to me and sent me a new mount. They claim they originally sent me a mount for a B-Swap. We’ll see if it’s the corrcet mount once it comes in the mail! Lol. And, I did think about getting hasport mounts but decided to try innovative. They seem like the underdog of aftermarket stuff. Perhaps in the future I’ll try some hasport mounts and make a final judgement.

Latest news:
So, they claimed to ship the new mount the 21st of April, which was also stated on the invoice email I got from them. I noticed in one weeks time I still didn't receive the mount, I called and they said they never actually shipped it. They over-nighted a mount to me and turns out I finally got the right one! Only issue is this; the mount is designed 1/8" lower and thus needed washers, and is a 1/4' thick mount so new hardware was also needed. Stock bolts are m10-1.25x22mm, swapped in some 30mm long ones.

Final Verdict:
I will never be using Innovative Mounts in another project I have ever. I needed new hardware for all three mounts supplied, and machining of parts was off by an unnecessary amount in my opinion. If you're a company that wants to compete with the best I would've thought that their mounts would be more accurate to OEM measurements for ease of use purposes for consumers. HASPORT is 100% the way to go; the $25 or so savings in mounts is not worth the hassle of having to purchase new hardware and needing to add washers in.
