going back to d for winter (and maybe longer) in my 89 si. currently the engine bay holds a blown b16 :(

I want to put the A6 cam in the d15b2 and put the mpfi manifold on it, and run it like that.

If things go well, I would like to find a b15b7 thottle body for the included IACV and use it on my y8 manifold that doesnt have the IACV hole in it, then i'll use that manifold/TB combo.

so far i've got:
complete d15b2 w/ trans. *free*
A6 head/cam, intake mani, injectors, PM6 ecu, mystery "no grinds" L-3 trans *$50*

I love it when the back of my car looks like this :D



need:
couple mounts
stock linkages

other crap i know will come up... but this is it so far.

Tranny mystery solved, thanks to the FAQ in the trans section I did a little test:



10 rotations of the input shaft and it looks like its a DX tranny.... oh well.


edit: Broke a bic pen in half putting the trans in 1st gear w/o a linkage.... any easier way to do this for my own future reference?
