For some reason, my tachometer is off, it reads anywhere from 200-600 rpms off, depending on the day and the temperature. Also, my fuel guage isn't really accurate either, when the needle hits empty it still has like 6 or 7 litres left. My thesis is that it's the distributor that needs to be changed but I could be way off. Could it be the cluster that's from an EX that isn't the right one for my ZC DOHC? If anyone knows what the problem is please let me know, thanks.

sounds normal to me - most OEM tachs are off that much - fuel gauge being off could be something with the sending unit - maybe the float is a little off
