what are the other options for intercooler piping. I think I saw some people use the same piping from a stock dsm...what is that rubber? does the piping from the turbo to the IM always have to be metal...or can it be something else...and what would that something else be...this is all speaking of ~6psi of boost on a t3 .48/.42 - or am loooking to see things explode if it's not metal?

^^na, pvc is pretty high temp and has really good heat resistance. plus it's hard, light, and strong. i have a friend that made a pvc cai for his 97 lx. better flow and intake temps than aem for like $15 plus cost of a filter, plus it has a real unique sound.
