Hey guys,

Today we’d like to share an interesting post with you. It’s an inside look at the * tuning scene of Japan written up and illustrated by Chris Gray.

Chris has been living between Ireland and Japan for many years and in his post for CARiD Blog he talks about the Tokyo Drift, Sport Tracks in the Kyoto suburbs and the Japanese automotive world, why it’s a true paradise for any motor enthusiast.

Check out some of the pics from the write-up below and be sure to view the rest at Japan: Tokyo Drift and Other Wonders of the Tuning Mecca | Car Accessories Blog and share your opinions in the replies. Have you ever visited Japan? If not, would you love to?

More on topic: Yes I would love to go to Japan and hang with the real Honda enthusiasts & tuning shops down there. From what I hear, they are some of the nicest and down to earth people.

Edit: Once you get past the "rice", the driftooooooooooooo, and the "SEMA" style cars, he's got a decent post there. Thanks for the link.

Love the last pic Chris!

My buddy Jay was sales guy for Honda moved over to Japan 3 years ago and is a hardcore Honda guy. He usually posts on our "local" forum and keeps us updated on all the cool shit and sweet rides over there.

Japan is so crazy, they really are like 12 to 15 years ahead of us in everyway.
