Alright so I was just out in the garage dinking around on my car and I decided to fiddle with my PCV valve. I noticed that there was a chunk of some hard substance around it. Looked to be like a carbon build up. So I removed it and then I popped the top of the valve off and the spring shot out. So now when my car is running I can hear a lot of air coming from it.

My question is how bad will this affect the drive ability of the car? I think it has been leaking air for awhile but now I actually know it is. I am turbo by the way as well...

Well I am going to have to drive it until I get it fixed. I just need to know if it will make my car run really weird.

My PCV Valve was caked open for god knows how long. You won't notice the difference.

For the $1.99 they cost, just get one as soon as you can and replace it.
