I'am not much into asking for help but I'am a little stumped.I replaced the pcv valve a couple of months ago when I did the y8 mani swap.I used vacuum hose.Car ran fine until a couple of days ago.Now when I start the engine the hose collaspes and it make's a weird noise.
Took it apart, pcv is not clogged, the vacuum hose that I used seems to be a little flimse though. Now my ?.Should I use a different type of hose? maybe fab a metal tube to use less hose,Or is there something wrong somewhere esle.Does the black box get clog in any way?please help.

Maybe its clogged further down, before the pcv valve itself.

It can get clogged, yes. Its a baffle, kinda like a rat maze. The tube between it and the pcv could clog too. If you have an air compressor, blow air into the valve cover breather and see if it comes out the pcv.
