So I have a P29 ecu running the dohc zc, I run after market springs retainers, valves ect. I have researched this extesivley and I can't come up with much besides junk. So all im interested is raising the rev limiter to 8000-8200, I've read the lower end is good to 8500 (just read forum about this). does anyone know a company or private person that has a good reputation in dealing with the P29? I do know about hondata I just can't affored it atm.

Don't raise the rev limit on a stock engine. EVER. The stock rev limit is already 7,800 RPM. If you care to bother learning anything about the engine, without some decent mods the power will not be carrying all that well (but better than any SOHC) out to 8K.

W(hy)TF do you want to raise the rev limit? The stock bottom end is not good to 8,500, at least not reliably. Whoever you are listening to needs to be on the short list of people you never talk to again.
