Add a Y8 oil pump into the mix, then I think it could work.

That would be a try, but i already have the z6 pump. so i'll just stick w/ the steel pan.

The only thing different is the two studs that is on the bottom of the oil pump that hold the oil pan. They're offset a little further apart. Widen oil pan two hole where the oil pump stud goes through should do the trick.

So you are saying, that i need to drill new holes for them to make it work ??

Edited above. Make sure to use the same pick up as the oil pan.


Gotcha. Thanks. The reason i was wanting to use the y8 pan is that i hate the steel pan gaskets. Even all the B setups, the gasket like to push out when tightening. With the y8, its that nice insert groove gasket!
