I have a friend who want to know what kind of oil to put in his y21 tranny with aftermarket LSD, but with clutch. He heards about chevrolet corvette oil, but anyone have advice on it ?

about slipping and lsd with clutch, some told that it should have additive in oil....

I really don't know, it's why I ask it :)

I used Pennzoil Synchromesh the last time in my Kaaz, loved it!!!!!!!!!

Got rid of the gear chatter, but still locked solid.

what about motorcycle oil? Those use wet clutches, too...

(i'm just wondering...)

Maybe it should help what kind of oil do you use in your bike ? :)

Interesting... I almost took a job designing that kind of oil. For Bel-Ray... I was pretty impressed with their low key facilities (and their cool motorcyle dyno). Someone should experiment with using their stuff in their Honda... :)

any takers?

Honda MTL is a crossover from their motorcycle division :)

Also the cheapest place to get real Hondabond.

None of honda dealers here know that.. :(

MTF yes, ATF yes, but not MTL.

Where did you find that ?
