My grandmother drives 5under everywhere she goes.

I drive like a total ass. i am rocket man.

I change her oil and she has the exact same quantity as the day i poured it into the motor.

I drive my car like Id drive a whore that agreed to a flatrate. I dog it and it likes it.
I do not have any drips :noway: clean driveway and I do not blow smoke.
Is a 1/2qt too much loss for 3k miles?:alky:

Someone complaining about half a quart per change????? JEEZE.

Try living with mine. This is how long in miles it usually takes to burn a quart.
Valvoline 10w30: 250 miles
Valvoline Maxlife 10w30: 500-700 miles
Mobil1 5w30: 1000 miles for the first quart, every 700 after that
Mobil1 10w30: 1500 miles for the first quart, every 800-900 after that

Multiply those numbers by about .6 if I have a cheap filter on the block.

That isn't shit, my 94 cx burns 3 quarts of oil a week. Basically it burns 3 quarts every 85 miles. The piston rings are so shot the motor has lost basically all its compression. I have to shift at 1500rpm in every gear or the car would misfire and buck violently and you know it blows smoke like a pig, but thats why its parked now. Nothings worst then driving up a hill going going 15 mphs while people behind you are blowing their horns.:cussing:
