So i got the car tuned yesterday and it is a fucking beast, pulls hard!
Rev limit is set to 7000rpm
Launch control is set at 5500rpm
Boost hits at about 3500rpm and holds till about 5800rpm i think...

The only thing i dont like is the long ass gears on the B7 tranny, but hopefully that will change soon!

So, here are the vid's...

in the last video...there's a light that came on at the end of first? what was that? but yeah - you should do a vid where the camera is looking at the tach/speedometer for the whole pull... but hooray for boost! there's hope after all for the b7. :TU:

what ended up being your no-boost problem?
your gonna laugh, cause i did...
it was the compressor housing hitting the block causing it to slightly twist.
we grinded off about 1mm off both the housing and the block and it worked flawlessly. its always the stupid shit!!!
But i'm just glad it was an easy fix...
Now i'm BOOSTIN!

no actually he upgraded clutch. hes been having slippage issues every now and then, and the day the vids were taken, was the day it got tuned.....problems with it all day.

You will notice in the 1 vid i believe...at the end you hear him say "it held up"...he was referring to the clutch on that run.

i dont think its strong enough, definetly gonna have to upgrade...

But it only slips when I hold full boost in high rpm's...

Any suggestions on a good clutch for this setup?

well i am looking into clutches as of now...i say go with something like a Stage 2-3 clutch with a 6 puck desgin...Centerforce..ACT..etc..should work good..unless someone else knows of anything better to use please fill free to add....also..did you say ur boost was cutting at around 5800rpm?? or did u mean 6800rpm?? 5800 seems like ur turbo might be a little small or a boost leak perhaps??

well, my tuner said that 5800rpm was where my power was dropping, but continued till 6500rpm.
If you look at the link in my sig the turbo def. isnt too small, and ive checked for boost leaks already and there isnt any.
I'm sure its my poopy clutch!!:cussing:

yea man, it pulls real hard.
i was driving around yesterday cause i wanted to test it agianst sombody, but its too crowded in the city. it seems nobody is out when you wanna have some fun!!!
5800rpm is when the fuel curve drops...says the tuner...
