Finally got some times on slicks. Stock Z6 block B7 head @15 psi on a chinese T3/T4. Been running this engine setup for about 6 months now with a best time of [email protected] on drag radials. 24.5x8.0x15 Mickey Thompson slicks, best time was at 12 psi air pressure. Still on HF axles so I didn't want to push my luck first time out on slicks, it was getting a lot of wheel hop on the burn out. Car is around 2080 with me in it. Wish I had 23 inch slicks but I couldn't pass up a brand new pair of slicks for $200.

Has a 1.6 sohc ever broke the 8 sec time? I know that probably this will be an all drag racing car but it still will be something very impressive.
