so i got my new hatch (pics coming in showcase soon) and I noticed something with the power steering when driving. If i'm moving its fine, however if i am at a stop with the brakes depressed and need to turn the wheel (say, leaving a parallel parking spot) it gets sort of jerky, and is not a smooth turn like my ex. It doesn't become hard to turn like if its low on fluid, it just jerks a bit (tension less tension and so on). I was wondering what part of the system it would be so i have an idea what to replace without just buying random parts.

and no. I'm not removing power steering, this one is keeping all the bells and whistles. :)

Yup that actually could be normal depending on the tension on your belt.

gonna check it when i get home from work, one of those things i've been meaning to toss out to you guys, and i'm bored here since no one fucked up their pc today.

I'll check the tension and report back. I have an extra pump or two also if the tension is good.
