So my 96 Del Sol SI with D16Y8 engine should have the P2P ECU. Then I noticed the label and it says P28. Getting curious, I took the cover off and saw this.

This looks like a P2P ECU. But then I saw the marked area and it looks like a Integra ECU. Can anybody confirm what ECU I have? Thanks

its a obd2 p28 im pretty sure its the stock ecu for your car
p2p i think is for the y7 non vtec correct me if im wrong

P2P (obd2) is for the 96+ civic ex or del sol
P28 is for 92-95 civic Si
pretty sure the label is right tho and its the P28 ecu
if your civic is a 96 maybe the previous owner switched it to the Obd1 in which case its probably attached by a conversion harness
not sure why he would tho since this ecu doesn't look modded
but you can check to see whether it is a obd2a or obd1
hondata.com is pretty helpful with helping identify ecu

Thank you everyone for your response. Here are some more pictures.

Based on the Hondata ECU identification website, there is no such thing as a OBD2a P28. But my connectors show that it is OBD2a. I guess t4lude98 is correct in that this is a 1996-97 Honda Del Sol with the D16Y8 and a OBD2a P28 ECU.

The kick panel that covers the ECU is missing so I also assuming that the original owner removed the ECU for some reason.
