Only answer this if you know for sure. No conjecture. I'm planning to put an OBD2 head (Y5) on my OBD1 block (SOHC OBD1 ZC VTEC). It shouldn't matter whether it's a Y5 or Y8, it's an OBD2 head. But which head studs do I need? I know I need the studs for the block but I heard that I will need one OBD2 head stud. I plan on getting ARPs. Searched and read a great deal but there's no definitive answer in the archives.

Please don't go off topic on the Y5 etc. I am aware of the quirks with this head.

So it is correct that I need a D16Z6 ARP head stud kit and one single D16Y8 head stud?

That stuff in my sig sold months ago. I forgot all about it.

I'm not having a cam made. The engine is turbo charged and I'm not trying to go over 200 whp. Y5 turbocharged with a standalone EMS does some very wonderful things for a dyno plot compared to what you get with a Y8 or Z6. But I don't want this to get off topic.
