I have researched until I got a headache from it. Everybody says something different. Someone please help me before I lose my mind.
I have a 1991 Honda CRX. D15b2, auto, a/c, obd0.
I am doing a z6 mini me. ZC pistons. Going obd1. Doing mpfi swap (y8IM). I want to keep it auto. I want to keep a/c.
Some people are saying i cant do obd1 ecm with my obd0 auto trans because of obd1 tcc and tc lock up.
I have been thrown in so many different directions, that I dont know whether im coming or going. Can someone please help me. Thanks in advance.

Driving a 91 EX Sedan, Y8 swap, OBD-1 conversion, no AC, automatic.

No clue on the ECU used nor any CEL's as I think the bulb is burned out.

OBD-0 ECU has no interaction with the ECU that I know of. If is has a locking TQ, mine hasn't been working and it is no issue.

Other than maybe 1-2 better mpg, I prefer the unlocked TQ.

As far as I know, you can. From everything I've heard, you lose the torque converter clutch lock-up, like bone said. Like he also said, that's maybe 1-2 mpg different, and with the TCC not locking up, you're less likely to burn up the torque converter (as that clutch is what burns up first, usually.)
