i drive a 89 civic and i am doing a turbo application and i want to convert to obd1, but i dont know what i need to do the conversion. I have a general idea. But i need to know a 100%. Thanks guys

First off, do yourself a favor and buy an OBD0 to OBD1 conversion harness. www.jdmshit.com has a good one and it's cheap.

Next, you're gonna need OBD1 injectors and an OBD1 Distributor.

From there, everything should be a plug and play process. There's a little wiring involved but it's really not hard at all. The harness should come with instructions and such to help make the install go better.

Obviously you're gonna need an OBD1 ECU of sorts. Whichever ECU best fits your application really. If your motor is NON-vtec, you should look for a P05 or P06 ECU. If your motor is Vtec, you should look for a P28.

IM KINDA CONFUSED??? So this harness will plug into the obd1 ecu that i will have to get?? Then everything else should work it self out right.. just let me know. you guys are a big help..

it will plug into your new ecu yes. but you have to change everything else that ryan said to change then you should be good
