2 of mine are out and its annoying as fuck. I'm talking about the 4 larger ones that light the tach, speedo, thermometer, and fuel guage.

and I noticed there's a blue cover of some sort on it, anyone try taking it off so the cluster is brighter??

EDIT: the post isn't that clear. I'm talking about a 88-91 civic. I wanted to know what the number is for the four larger bulbs in the cluster or are they universal. If I went to autozone would they have universal bulbs for gauge cluster????

yea,,
them bulbs are pretty interchangable...
& I've never taken off the blue covers...
but I thought they'd produce more of a blue effect... but it doesn't ..just stock..
so removing them may make it brighter..

I'd just remove one & take it to autozone & say.. I need a bulb like this,,
if they don't carry it..
somthing like carquest or napa can order them certain parts like that,
but a junk yard would be an easy hit...

there #194 bulbs.

I tried it without the blue cover/shevle... and it looks weird like a flashlight or a incadesent blub. I'm going to put the blue cover on them. 2 of my bulbs went out. It'll be nice to see the whole tach and speedo now.
