I finally decided to get an e-reader. Looked around, weighed my options and finally went and bought me a Barnes & Noble Nook color.

So far i like it.

The good-

The screen resolution is great.
Lots of apps
Has internet(WIFI)
Lots of books
Its color, not black and white.
Get a Barnes & Noble membership basically for free(took $2 off the over all price and got the membership for free)

The bad-

Pricey- with case and antiglare screen protector totaled $264
Books are about the same price on paper or digits
Battery doesnt last long, but havent cycled enough i think since its new.

Overall, it was an investment and something hopefully my kid will use.

On to the pics

Root it and it'll basically be a full-function tablet PC. :) I've been wanting a Nook Color so I can have a cheap tablet. Nice pick up!

Great review.
I also bought my Gf the Nook its the orginal when it frist came out she loves it. The Battery Last a long time, But its not a tablet, style like the color.

Look into downloading the Nook Ap on your smart phone, you can also view the books that you have on the Nook.

Had the Nook Color, sold it, now own the iPad 2. I was looking for something different. They have a Nook app. Put the ipad on the card. 0% interest for 12 months, golden.
