okay so here is my issue,my 95 Civic came with an NRG short hub with a slim quick release mated to a Jdm CTR or Type R steering wheel not sure which one but they sort of look alike anyways I got rid of the wheel and bought an NRG 2.5 quick release and personal steering wheel and decided to hook up the horn, but come to find out the slim hub has No white ring or brass contact plate, not only that but the ground wire thats on the face of the hub is gone as well...I gave nrg a call to see if I could buy the contact plate but thats a no go as they do not sell it seperate apparently馃槕...I really Dont wanna rig a seperate button on the dash nor do I wanna drop 90 bills for a new hub, my question is, is that plate necessary? Can i have the hub itself be the contact? Or must I make something to work as the backing? I really like to keep shit simple and use the horn on the wheel. Anyone have any suggestions?

P.s. im doin this from my phone so if theres typos i apologize

yes I've seen the shoe horn, but if I put it on I'm still not making contact with the back of the hub unless I bend it so its touching it. now I don't know if its safe to do it like that, because I am missing the contact plate. what I'm supposed to have is this piece here

The shoe horn will make contact with it like this (in this case the L bracket is bent to act like the shoe horn) but again I will only be touching the main hub making it the contact and nothing will act as a "spacer" if you will, between the hub and the brass contact like im supposed to have.
