ok i know nitrous likes high compression. my question is that can i run a 125 or larger shot on 11.0:1 and 93 pump gas? if not what about a mix of race gas with 93?

I guess you can run good with 93 octane.

But you'll have to supply properly your injectors. You'll have to regulate the mixture to even more richer.

Also be carefull timing your engine, 11.0 is high compression piston +125 nitrous shot could be a big boom boom if not properly tuned.

Step by step fine tune your car, a proper dyno run with wideband meter is a good way to be sure if your car is fuel set and timed correctly.

spray as much as you want

nitrous will supercool the intake charge and prevent detonation

your breaking point on a stock engine is the wrist pins and rods

stock D16 rods can take around 200 lbs torque

so if your engine is only making 75lbs of torque now it may take another 125 before breaking

That's good to know. All I'm worried about on my build are the notoriously weak ringlands on H22 pistons. Hopefully that won't cause a problem and if it does I suppose I'll just have to pony up the cash for Crower H23 rods and Mahle 11.5:1 gold series pistons.
