and on e85. I ran this car on the track for almost 11 months. 12.3 fastest time. Finally blew it up. Cracked piston, rod, hell sent a wrist pin through the transmission. Opened the motor up….. wait for it. Stock rods and pistons. I was told stock rods were good for 6 psi. That’s it. How did this motor make it so long????

Stock rods are good for 6 psi, for a longer period of time. I made 300whp on stock rods for a few months, until I didn't........ Sortof like this... They will hold for a while, until they don't.

I've pulled motors down for rebuilds that the owners were making 300-320 thinking the internals were forged, only to find out they were stock aside from cam and rod bolts, a conservative tune and the quality of stock honda components is the only explanation I've ever found. Very uncommon though, for them to last until the clearances are worn enough to need a rebuild, mostly they end up just like yours, with a new window in the block, lol.

"x" psi support is ignorance.

PSI does not mean a damn thing for power.

WHAT turbo at WHAT psi with WHAT temperatures is how you can determine power support
