I am new here but have been around honda's for about a year or so. I've been a member on turbod16 for a year. My name on there is hypnotiqcivic99.

Thought I would show some pics of my ride. I will be doing an auto to manual swap soon and I am wanting to make a write up about it or a DIY of some kind. I think that would help alot of people out who are wanting to know how to do it.

Car has stock suspension but in a month or two it will be getting lowered.

When I had just put my headlights back on after painting the housings black. JDM

And my sound system. Made the box myself. It's kind of big but it called for 1.75ci so I guess it had to be that big.

Got a Manual D16y8 from a friend for $300 with only 48k miles on it.

Here it is when I first got it.

After selling the head and IM. Regret selling the IM because I need it for my auto to manual swap to run a 2-wire IACV.

It's not too bad. Cylinder walls are still in great shape.

Then sold the Knock Sensor, Atlinator, Oil Pan, and Wire Harness.
Then started to disassemble the rest of the block.

Thinkin about keeing block, crank and girdle to build me a motor for boost later.

I wasn't trying to sell anything, sorry. Just meant I have alot of stuff left over that I need to get rid of. I know I am not aloud to sell anything yet. I am selling stuff on other forums and on ebay.

Actually what I did was forget what my user id and pw was. I typed in hypnotiqcivic99 and the same pw I always use. It happened to be the same as a year ago when I registered that name the first time. I guess it let me keep the name but it updated the join date to as of the other day. But I remember when I posted that and it was the summer or winter of 2005. I know that for a fact cuz I haven't been on this site since then. And after I registered with the same name it showed me my post that I have made in the past which wasn't much. But anyway who cares that was a long time ago.

Yes that mdf sloted box and that mtx woofer is awsome. Hits real hard and sound excellent.
