Check it out, Jackson Racing has finally changed it's charger design. Oscar Jackson is actually heading this one up himself and not licensed through Moss motorsports like before :). They don't have one listed for the SOHC yet, but I'm sure they will. Here's the new blower and I'll post the link too.

Centrifical is very nice but on small engines does not do too well on the low/mid range. Atleast in the vortech designs that's how it was. Im sure they made this system better though!

Oscar Jackson ain't changed shit, just using someone elses parts AGAIN.

Btw it'll never work on a SOHC, Rotex won't make the parts to spin it backwards.

Only took OJ 6 years to play with that design......

Oh yeah, old news :)
BTW OJ was thru Magnuson, who are rebuilders for Eaton on the old design. Only thing OJ had designed was the intake manifold.....

Liking the Centrifugal design... but with the roation problem that Bones just mentioned I doubt we'll see any on a SOHC Honda...

yeah, I doubt they will make one spin backwards for our motors. I'm just glad to see they finally went with a different design then what they had.

Would they have to make the parts to spin it backwards? One could obtain the same resluts by making a mounting system that would mount it facing the opposite way. I mean so that the pulley in line with the crank pulley but the body of the supercharger is on the opposite side of the pulley as the engine. Would that not correct for the difference in rotation. I saw an example in an issue of Import Tuner. Here are the pictures:

I might be wrong but it looks like it could be possible. Maybe not cost effective but possible......

Not enough room, even on a 5g for the piping and such without hacking up the framerail and headlight area.

I know, I played with one on my car!

The only idea we had was a double idler system like Procharger used, but the belt would need to be ribbed on both sides. They are very popular on BMW's though......

Thing is though, a redesign is easy. The friction planetary system will run backwards so all you have to do is recast the outlet and compressor wheel.
