my Garrett t3 60 trim had a 0.48 turbine housing
That's awesome, did you have to run a large 60mm waste gate?
Was the turbin wheel stg1 or 3?
Did it have pretty quick spool for the street? Thanks.

I didn't end up running it. I owned it for about a year and a half but I ended up getting a larger turbo and sold it to a local.

He ended up putting it on a B16 and he said it was spooling like crazy fast.

Quote from him and his data logs, "@2109 I have 1psi and by 3964rpm i have full boost of 8psi "

lol... he ended up selling it. It was too small for what he wanted. :D

He was using a Tial 38mm.

I see, the top end must have been holding him back because of the tial 38mm. I lol'd about the crazy spool.

My tuner was recommending a t3/60-1 with ar.48 turbin housing, but said the ebay t66 63 trim and stg1 turbin wheel with the ar .48 housing would do the job for d-series for 400whp with a large waste gate for better spool and not having to rev the engine past 8grand to help it last longer. He also felt that I could stay in the mid twenty's for boost to get that power level so the turbo will last longer.

yeah garrett does make a .48 turbine housing ive owned 3 of them.
Indeed they do, I currently have a Garrett 42/48 on my hatch, it's an amazing turbo. There really is no spool time, I see 2psi at 1800 Rpm.
