I recently picked up a 1990 civic hatch, Standard model with the 4spd manual and d15b2 in it. car has 191,000 miles on it. The issue I am having is an odd noise. When I am at low throttle I hear what sounds almost like a grinding noise of metal grinding, but if I tap the gas it will go away briefly. It is fairly consistent only at low speed and low throttle.

I have heard maybe a trans/motor mount is bad? Could that be the cause?

Any help is greatly appreciated

Thanks
