I need to know if the bearings from a d16a1 are the same as a d16z6 if you buy them new. I am rebuilding my z6 block. I am putting the p29/pm7 pistons in my z6 for higher compression I have been reading alot about this over the last month and I just need to know about the bearings thanks. I am going to be using p29/pm7 pistons my stock z6 rods and im trying to use d16a1 rod bearings, main bearings, and thrust washers

Using a z6 block crank and rods, use the bearings for the z6. Only thing that would be differant from the z6 would be get piston rings that match your pistons.
