Sup gentlemen, need some help identifying a few cams i have laying around. Had them separate but after a move they got mixed up. The stickys i read do not have any detailed pictures showing specific differences so i am hoping a shaped eyed gent will shed some light. One is an A6, sohc ZC and stock B7. Thank you in advance.

Here is what i have:

the d15b7 cam will have the shortest profile, and the biggest angle seperation, as it is made for lower rpm torque.

my total and utter guess based on the picture with hammer on top and 3 laid out top to bottom, the b7 is the far right cam.

Thank you for the reply Matt.

My hope is that someone will have a cam laying around that they can visually compare with mine and accurately confirm which is which for the benefit of all. Looking closely, they are different from one another in that some cam journals have grooves machined into them. Also, in picture 3, the left most cam has a groove on the journal closest to the distributor lug and also the thrust locator.

I can take better pics if necessary.

take close up pics of any casting nmumbers. I believe I have a d15b2 or d15b7 camshaft in a head laying around (same camshaft)

I also have a d16a6 head for sure, I can check.

Will be late tomorrow, if I remember
