Im' from Brazil and have been a long time I've studied english so please forgive any misspelling. :tongue:
Well, this is my very first build. In all sense. Got other cars from other brands with different levels of customization. But never dedicated attention on mechanic as on this honda.
It's a 97' Civic Coupe EXS, D16Y8. Got it AT and bone stock.
Started with CAI and other bolts but the mechanic I used to took it sucks. Leave a lot of money there and car never kept riding fine. Two torque converter rebuild, always dripping and so on. Lots of towing also:dots:
Anyway, tired of this almost sell it. Until I went to a performance part shop and met some enthusiasts. They gave me directions for a brazilian honda forum. And then I got here. Priceless info I've collected and still got over here from experienced users .:bowdown:
First major mod was to swap to a S40 EX tranny. Big difference, obviously, lol.
Next, obd1 ecu and run on E100 with more timing. Other jump.
Hope boosting brings another major bump :biggrin:
Well, the goal is to reach about 250HPs and stay as daily drive. Obviously going to track from time to time
Soon lots of photos.
