while back in august my honda got vandalized so i decided i would buy one of many vehicles ive always wanted, but a sammy being one since i was about 3. unfortunately i didnt have a camera to take pictures of the car before it hauled away...

the drivers fender was crumpled and the grill was sticking out. it came spoa on 30 9.50s with no front bumper and a tow bar.

the shocks he put in are too long and top out and dont let it flex to its full potential

buddy of mine had a fender he gave to me for free..was bondo'd i had to prep it and paint it and homemade bumper out of scrap metal...works good enough for free and i took my pro comp 33 12.50s from my jeep and mounted them on rock crawler 15x8 steelies with more offset and trimmed abotu 2 inches of the lower fenders and wells and body molds to clear the 33s

my timing belt jumped 3 teeth in the bush, blew my clutch throw out bearing and clutch was already toast when i got it, alternator and starter shit the bed the same day. so i did a tune up when i reset my timing. put in a centerforce dual friction clutch and new clutch cable..pedal is stiff but still has some slip..makes it nice with the 33s on there. put a bosch starter in and did the gm 12 si alternator upgrade.

i have 1.5" hd lift leafs, 1" extended shackles, es poly shackle bushings, thorley ss header and double cardan cv driveshafts on order from low range. picked up a high steer kit from trail gear to replace the OTT steering that it came with and got u bolts made for front and rear when the lift goes in.

yeah they are! open open they go so many places, locked front and rear they pretty much go anywhere. for now its my daily, i still wheel it every weekend. im looking for an OBS ford crew cab or extd cab long box 5 spd powerstroke for a daily and have the sammy for wheeling and mudding..once i put the bigger lift in and high steer gona lock it front and rear and rebuild and re gear the t case with 6.5:1 gears..might put a colt cam in it

got any pics? they are! just not a fan of the t case getting jammed in neutral pulling it out of 4 lo!
So they offer gears for the T-case aftermarket or does something just happen to fit them like the Vitara in a d16.
they make gears to re gear the t case low range sells them and have 3 different ratios for it
i was looking at a few obs 7.3s but either had high mileage or rust..found one decent clean 1 owner with low mileage but guy ended up selling to his brother in laws sons friend. found this 99 7.3 extd cab long box auto with 227k kms on it...so i towed the zuk to my shop to put a bigger lift and some other parts in it



and had a friend do some modelling with it ;)

Very nice! Love the samurai and the powerstroke. You should figure out a way to mate a D series to that samurai trans.
