My Rex Build...New setup 8/30/09

I have been on here a little while so I figure I might as well give you guys some pics. The Build for right now is as follows
89 Crx Si
Jdm D15B
Ebay turbo wastegate and BOV
Dsm 450s
p28 chipped with xenocron basemap
Obd 1 swap
Much better parts in the future, The car came with most of the parts when I bought it. Motor was already hurt so I got a D15B from Hmotors. The car is about 75% done right now. Anyways on with the pics.

That would be the starter haha It was all shitty looking when I was about to put it in and blue paint was close by.

Thanks to all. After I get Back from Iraq I will be building another engine and boost the shit outta it. Havent decided what block to go with yet. Probably an z6. That will be a while from now so my plans will change 100 times haha.

I would really like to upgrade to a better turbo soon but I am trying to figure out what turbo to go with that will work with my current setup and also be good for a built block(For the Future). Any opinions would be greatly appreciated.

Oh trust me it has its imperfections, The garage pics just hide them well. It will be getting painted also when I get back.

So Ive done a lot of work and spent a little money on the car lately. I went with a 50 trim .70 a/r bulleseye from goautoworks along with his miniram setup and 3 in downpipe. Just waiting for all of that to be fabricated and sent my way. For clearance of the downpipe I opted for an innovative traction bar. It was simple to install and only took about an hour. After I get back from cali I will be putting it all together.

nice start! ur gonna love it I promise! Ive seen that new bar but not installed. What kind of clearance do you have for turbo down pipe. Obviously more then the factory x member, but will it be a prob? Is Greg gonna have to build around it? Im just asking because I have concidered an innovative for myself. Ive had a full race, hated it. Have an ETD now which works fine with mods. The innovative seems to be build with the best of both worlds but to me it looks a little too far forward for my liking.

There is a Ton of room for the downpipe. I had to refab my half radiator mount a little but that was no big deal. Im heading out to cali tonight, I will resume the project at the end of this month.

So I got back from California and got to work. I still have a couple small things to do but for the most part everything is coming together nicely. Here are some pics from today.
