Hi I'm Aaron,

I just wanted to show off my progress thus far with my 96 260k DX model coupe. Hope you guys enjoy.

The day I got her. just over 260k on the clock, and the only thing done to it was the saggy headliner mod and a complete lack of routine maintenance.

Time to molest it.

One of the first things I ordered was an AEM UEGO, my goal was to (while I was waiting for my real motor to be built) start murdering single cams, I got my hands on a few and bought crome pro and all the fixins to try and teach myself to tune. It. Was. Fun.

Found some lightly used Progress Coilovers on a local facebook forum for deals. They're EG, but with a few washers I made them EK coilovers. :)

My original plan - Vitara Build with Bisimoto 3.6 cam... But that went out the window after I decided that route wasn't financially devastating enough. :ugh:

Yank the transmission out, drop it off with Spiker (the one with the stock accord) put an MFactory LSD in it, make it grenade while both wheels spin. :willy_nilly:

some more tranny porn. :surrender:

In most cases, I don't cheap out, but I found this top mount manifold on that same facebook forum for cheap, so I decided it'll do until I want to spend big bucks for a kit. Eventually.

Boring fuel pump picture for documentation purposes.

It's like christmas. My BISIMOTO 3.6 cam, Eagle rods, and Arias 9:1 pistons, and supertech valve springs have arrived.

Ooh shiny.

One more because expensive.

My ugly a** on black friday holding a Speedfactory tucked radiator, SF catch can, and some other parts that I ended up getting rid of because I didn't like them. But hey they were cheap, and I have credit cards...

remember that "I'm gonna tune it myself" idea? Well I got the trans back from Spiker, decided to slap my comp clutch stage 4 unsprung in and go blow up a stock Y7 with 260k miles on it. It worked out really well.

There she is all ugly like and stuff.

Got my A6 Block back from Darton - MID Sleeves installed.

Sometimes I find really good deals on quality parts, like these 16 inch regas in 4x100. So I got em. Eventually I'll probably go 5 lug, but for now these will have to do. /sarcasm

more wheelporn.

Put em on!

Again, more good deals... I couldn't resist, OEM SIR bumpers/fenders :D

Aaand more good deals. Traded some rotas and a couple hundred bucks for this very lightly used precision 5858. I no longer worried about where I'm gonna get the money for a turbo. Haha

Got the block assembled thanks to Action Machine Shop over here in Shoreline, WA. Now we're really getting somewhere.

Finally had a minute away from work to get the fenders/bumpers on and wired up, along with some SIR headlights that I found for deals!

And here is the build list for the motor.

Fucking sweet looking build. Definitely baller. I actually laughed when i saw your posts reserve. Like that idea, should have done it in my build.

It's been a very long and ramen filled year for sure. But I can't wait until it's finished. Should be a completely useless (but fun) street car.

Thank you. It's got a ways to go for sure, just trying to take my time and buy quality parts. I've had enough fun with ebay kits and stock single cams (I've grenaded 6 over the last few years) so I've decided I'm gonna go all out with this one.

Hi, I think I've met you a time or two at one of the local tuning shops, meets, or events.

Piston Below deck is less than optimal, but I suppose it lets you re-mill if you warp it.

Feel free to let me know if you need any local help. I'm up in Bellingham for another year or so, but my home is south around Tacoma.
