these pistons are great, they sit betwen the a6 and pm7 piston

they are the pg6b,they are from a sohc zc motor.they have the same compresion height as a p28 pistons(30),but it has a 1cc(est)piston dome displacement,i think they would yield a 11.5cr in a stock z6,unlike the 12.0cr the pm7 give and the 10.0cr of the pm6.

i can get them for $160 totally new with rings

i check ,and this pistons are from 87 d16a1,they have a 30mm compresion height and a 1 cc dome. check in here http://www.knology.net/~jediklc/D.htm to see what this pistons can do for your motor, remember to enter the correct Piston-to-Deck Height using the Piston Deck Clearance Formula and if you have a milled head, all you have to do is enter a smaller value at the Head gasket Thickness, for example if you are using a .037 3 layer z6 gasket and you head is milled .010,enter .027 instead of .037.

yeah, WTF is 1.81 CH? what units?

if it is EXACTLY 30mm CH, then that means you have to use the .00 p28 piston to deck height. so, that will yeild a 11.7:1 CR in a bone stock d16z6. 12:1 with a 2layer HG.
11.7:1 more or less, that's true, i have pics of this pistons, the pm7,the p2p,the p28,all sitting next to each other.the problem is that my camera is fucked, and i am having problems downloading the pics to the pc,but soon expect a few pics.

So the ones that he is getting are the flat tops right? Because domed ones (from my understanding) would raise compression even more? right?

Flat tops are PG6?

Domed would be PM7 and P29?

Right or wrong... (Im trying to learn, sorry for being annoying)

<---- Ponce, PR but i live in Miami now...
