I received my Crower Stage 2 cam and valvetrain and after having it installed,it bent 2 valves on the same cylinder while it was idling.

Now I am going to have the pistons pocekted "valve reliefs" but is this normal or has anyone else had the same problem?

So....Non vtec pistons...From the A6,which has smaller valve reliefs than the D15B Vtec valves.

And a higher lift cam...

Where's Sherlock Holmes at?

thats what I been trying to say!!

88-95 (block with pistons) with a 96-00 head will have valve reliefs issues!! even non vtec

u should have kept the D15B pistons....

If he is going to cut valve reliefs its best to take out the pistons....

Then u should go new bearing and rings...etc...
