This summer I will be rebuilding my d16y8 (in a 96 civic ex)for boost; lets say 18psi. I have put together a parts list (in no particular order) of everything I could think of off the top of my head. I'm looking to only put the best of quality inside my engine so lets ignore cost. I would appreciate it if you could look over this list real quick and tell me what would be a good brand/company for certain parts or possibly let me know if I missed something (I already have the turbo and ramhorn exhaust manifold).

forged connecting rods (eagle?)

valve springs/retainers
arp head studs
re-build kit (bearings)

SuperTech will do the job.. they are pretty decent

No need for sleeves how much power are you looking for. And PSi means nothing different turbos push different amounts of air and there for will produce much different amounts of power. you need to think in horsepower. Figure out what you want and stick to it

and ACL/Honda/King bearings, whatever works IMO. With a correctly assembled motor, it really doesn't matter, except in your bank account

you never mentioned your goals for the project... so fill us in. (street, drag, auto-x, ???)

PSI is relative...
10 psi from a t3 60 trim may make 200whp
while,
10psi from a gt35r may make 400whp
(just as an example, not sure of exact numbers but you get the idea)

so tell us whp numbers and not boost pressures...
or
if you are set on 18psi also provide us with a whp number so you we can give you an idea of the turbo that fits the bill

crome, neptune, ect....hondata..aem ems or other stand alones....
