im getting ready to start buliding my d16y8 and was hoping someone could give me suggestions and about how much power i should be able to hit

block bore 20 to 40 over what kinda hp should i be able to hit and what psi

go .020 hp, set an hp goal and go from there. Also I recommend using OEM headgasket.

One thing, your power level should not be based off of psi, but rather what kind of hp/whp u are shooting for. different turbos produce different power at different psi. someone with more turbo experience can chime in or correct me if i am wrong

You are correct. A large turbo will flow a lot more air at a certain psi than a small turbo will.

depends if youre turbo can handle 350- 400, but i dont see why your engine wont be able to handle it, what turbo will you be using?
