My car is always under construction & daily drivin' car ! :lol:

Future mods will be soon:

- Another d16y7 Engine to built up this one while other stay in car
- pm3 pistons from b2 engine
- Y8 headgasket
- Aluminium lightweight flywheel
- Clutch kit, but don't know which one to choose yet... :shock:
- Stage 1 or 2 cam, don't know again which one to use
- Porting & polishing with appropriate flow
- Actual 4-2-1 header & exhaust system
- Actual Y8 ported intake manifold
- Actual CAI with K&N air filter
- Aftermarket head stud & connecting rod studs
- Very good ECU tuning on dyno !
- Maybe an y8 tranny
- Maybe b20 or another one TB matched with intake


I want to keep redline to 7000rpm & stay a daily drinving car ! I hope 140-150 whp and good torque band with this setup, is too utopist ? :shock:

No, didn't talked to him, and don't know who is it !

I'm too far, but I'll make my owm mechanical, electrical... I only need some tips, and ways to save some cash !!

why not pm3 pistons into a d16 ?

1.5 have same bore, juste shorter stroke !?

Sounds like a good plan, but I wouldn't expect 140whp from it. Maybe more like 125-130 depending on how much you spend on tuning.

I have a Y7 with the following:

DH-Racing head - ported and gasket matched ports, clenaed up chambers and unshrouded valves, 0.020" mill
Delta272 cam
OBX cam gear
Gude ported Z6 intake manifold
AEM CAI
DC 4-2-1 header
Pro-Flo twister 14" muffler as resonator
Ractive twin-loop muffler
2.25" custom pipe

I'm seeing approx. 116whp on the dyno without much tuning. I'm now looking at either a Hondata or AEM EMS to tune it up.

damn ... a ported head ... z6 manifold .. and you only see 116whp ?? hmm ... youd think it was more ... you need to hook that thing up to a dyno and have the shop tune that fucker , maybe think about really getting that hondata and .. getting some transmission work ... or lighten the interior up and get good use of that 116whp ... happy tuning ..
