Hi,
Everyone I'm new to site. I love my d-series, everyone told me to b-series, but I wanted to be different. It feels good stomping the b-series guys and also of course the domestics. This is far from a mild build, but i want faster, so i have another block I am goin to sleeve and run e-85, if they will bring it back to oklahoma, bastards. A shop here in Oklahoma City has been making runs to texas to get e-85 which sucks. Well here is my build and everything done to it, this is actually second, the last won blew up.

250whp on 16lbs of boost with a t3/t4 57 trim??????

seems a little low to me....but it sounds like a really nice setup......what kind of dyno were you running on?

How come you didnt go beyond 16lbs????? was pump gas limiting you?

YES pump gas was limiting me very much so, i wanted to be safe, this was a very safe tune, with e-85 i should be able to pick up 80 horses by just timing thats it.

what would be a safe amount of boost with good tune on a d series , stock block with an exception with piston and rods, .40 over pistons

You want more power? Forget about sleeving the block for the time being and swap that log manifold out for something tubular. Start there and you'll see the power come a lot sooner.

Get a better manifold!

Get a better tune/engine management!

Get a cam!

There are some suggestions.

stock sleeves have been seen to go +400 whp so i think youll be ok even if you are bored out by that much, definatly look into a better mani.. possibly a topmount or ram just my $.02
PS those numbers on a mustang dyno?? and the setup seems good
it was on a jet dyno

Nice ride.

Do run them DR's daily? Or is this a DD?

What EMS are you running?

Your build has alot more power to be pulled

crome ems, no its not a daily driver, i have a subaru 2004 daily driver. i run drag radial all the time. i think i can get more timing and more boost
