You check domestic's runny and warm I check the tranny levels on 17 honda's everyday. But what the fuck do I know!!!!!!!

prolley has a bad CV shaft too! or maybe a tire

Something is vibrating under me, between the engine and the driver side wheel. It feels like it vibrates, or revs, and then catches after a second or two and the car then accelerates fine and drives normally. This always happens between 20-25mph and seems less harsh if I am accelerating slower.

Sounds like the tranny is done! I am sure they are cheap and easy to find where you are.

Manuals are about $100 here... I hope the tranny isn't toast because autos are harder to locate in this area...

Okay Moss Alley looked at my car and it's definitely the transmission. So time to buy a new... err used one.

Automatic tranny fluid should be red, if its clean-oil-brown then it was worn out many thousands of miles ago.

Honda is the only maker of auto trannies I know of that it DOES get checked when it's off. Procedure for autos (I guarantee from at least '87 to '02) is to drive until the car is fully warmed up, shut car off on level surface, and check the fluid level between 60 and 90 seconds after it is shut off.
