My EJ1 Vitara Build Thread (updated 9-19-08)

Its 300+whp or bust on this one!

The Victim:
-1994 Civic EX Coupe
-Manual
-210,000 miles

The Motor:
-All D16z6 parts
-Except for the A6 block... (bored .5mm over, notched for rods)

Turbo Setup:
-Bullseye T3/TO4E 50 trim w/ .55 a/r
-GO-AUTOWORKS 3" SS Downpipe
-GO-AUTOWORKS Dumptube
-Ebay Cast Manifold
-Tial 38mm Wastegate, 10psi spring
-Tial 50mm BOV
-GO-AUTOWORKS Tuner Charge Pipe Kit, Bead rolled
-GO-AUTOWORKS 28x12x3 FMIC
-Tuner Toys Stealth Oil Lines

cleaned up the head/block today, really liken how it came out. degreaser and a toothbrush FTW

question, shud i be able to turn the cam gear by hand?

betwwen 15 and 20psi, as stated, wutever it takes to get to 300whp

I'm subbin' on all the current Z6 builds going on on the "d"!

What head gasket is that?
haha, ya i cant cant wait either :) to bad the gpd damn machinists are 3 weeks out
With the springs still in place, you should not be able to turn the cam by hand. Have fun with your build.

question- ive been researchin a lot of the build threads and im questioning my injectors... right now i have 550cc's and im not sure if they are going to cut it, it looks like most are running 750's or 1000's... wut do you guys think?

not really sure around here never looked into, but getting just a crank that cheap aint bad
