Well figure I've been around in awhile so heres an update.

Still waiting for paint which sucks. So in the mean time of waiting for paint, went and bought an air ride setup for it. I know I'm gonna catch junk about it but, figured I'd do somethin different.... again. Also got rear speakers, not the gathers setup but it'll work.

Newer photos ----

PPG Ford Indigo Blue Metallic

Rear Speakers

What it will hopefully after the air rides installed

Painted to the tank

New Logo and primer matching now

That's NOT an EG6. I don't even think they made the EG6 in '95, and they most certainly didn't have any "EG6 DX's." Totally not feelin' it, but props for doing what you like.

Lambo Doors
TV in/on the Dash (Touchscreen)
Secret Project for the Hood. (Just Wait)
Body Kit (It'll look good just wait)
Shaved Doors
...... And More (Just can't think of it all)

it all sounded ok till all this was brought up^^^^

stock for the car z3 fenders are fiber glass and suck (fitment issues)
lambo doors come the fuck on (really)
tv in the dash wat? look into gps instead
for the hood dont cut vents in it. paint it the same color of the car or flat black it.
body kit ok t.i. wheres the rims
shaved doors are ok but what if the poppers go out on you. you will have to climb thru the trunk of the car.

Its been awhile since I've been on here. Been busy with the new job and gettin some stuff figured out. Had the air ride on the car for a couple weeks then got a deal that I couldn't turn down. A friend of mine straight traded me the air ride setup for a D16Y7 motor with the install. Motor has about 30,000 miles on the motor and pulls nicely. He did all the work on it and it runs awesome. In the process of all of it I bought me another car for a daily driver. Now I have the '95 Civic Hatch and a '00 Ford Escort ZX2 S/R. Pretty sweet deal on it that I can't complain about.

But on the other hand, I'm to the point now that I'm looking at selling/trading the Hatchback for either $4,000 or trade for a S-10 or Silverado. Still needs work but its not as bad as it used to be. PREFERING LOCAL PLEASE, EASIER FOR ME.

When It was bagged

And now

Figured I'd update some pics with it. Haven't done much with it here lately except the swap that was done a few months ago.

Both the cars. '95 Civic Hatch, '00 ZX2 S/R

D16Y7 In

6K HIDs

And most recent, getting the cv axle replaced

Not sure how I feel about this project, especially since it looks really ricey, if your just doing a show car then I guess its ok, but not too many people are doing the whole rice thing anymore especially since they all get made fun of and get no respect. I think if your trying to do the whole body kit and audio thing you should get a mini truck cause thats what they are all about, big rims, audio, air bags, and crazy paint, that stuff is played out on Hondas, only people that dont know what they are doing do that stuff, but thats just my opinion, keep it clean and simple. Less is more.

Well the project took a lot of turns and changes from the start. Now I've pretty much gone back to stock except for the front bumper. Hate the whole ricey b.s. The body kit I'm goin away from cause it was so much of a hassel and a pain to get things right. If I did end up keeping it, I'd maybe put a system back in it, and a front end conversion but even that I'm still not sure on. Got the doner car already just do I really want to do all the work on it. The air ride was somethin to change it up, don't see a whole lot of bagged Civics around here. But yeah, tryin to go back to simple with it.

Ok I am way behind on updating the progress to my Hatch, so here's a quick update.

Had a few issues to fix after the guy did my motor swap last year, he decided to take some short cuts that could have been pretty bad if I didn't catch them. Bent my power steering line in half so wasn't getting any fluid to the rack, left the pins out of the castle nuts on the bottom end of the front suspension. Those were barely hanging on by a few threads. Did a quick spray bomb paint job back in June for a show that didn't last long. Cracked the front bumper so I got rid of it. Went into the body shop in September and picked it up at the end of September. Not completely done with it, its in color primer, roof has to be redone cause he wasn't happy with it. Long list of stuff to get done over the winter, for next show season. But here are the pics.

Issues I had to fix....

Line modified to fit, '99 top end to '95 rack

2011 Updates....

Currently debating air ride or coil overs, miss when I had it on air. Building a show car not one that I plan on dogging the hell out of on the street. But probably going to coil overs for now til I get more money to finish the suspension. Been in the paint shop for the past month and its finally nearing completion, well for now at least.....

Finished door jams...

Please save this car from any future RICE modifications...........Its been extremely painfull for me to read this thread and see what that poor EH has been through.

If that car could talk it would beg me to buy it and restore it to OEM and properly drop and hook up the suspension.

Future rice modifications? I've taken every "rice" off this and went back to stock and added the lip kit and carbon fiber duck bill. So what if I want to run air ride on it, I like a good looking dropped car even if that means air ride. Sorry you don't like what I'm doing with it but its not going to be some rice bomb thats been hacked up and thrown together.

Been meaning to update this for a little while now. I know its not what most of you guys like but I've enjoyed the build and gotten a lot of positive feedback here lately with it.

Working on suspension next, full coilover kit

Full Option Racing Cat Back
