I have an MSD 8950 RPM Activated switch to temprarily activate my vtec, I was told to hook the signal wire up to the blue wire comin off the dizzy, WHen I do this and power up the 8950, I loose my tach and the switch doesn't work. Am I hooking it up to the right wire?, Should it be the larger guage blackj wire (negitive side of the coil??)

Car: 91 Civic, Mini Me...A6 bottom end, z6 head.
MSD 8950 RPM Activated switch and an RPM Selector.


HELP!?!?!!?
