so after reading 4 different guides on how to do the mpfi swap and asking 2 of my buddies this just doesnt make any sense. All the guides sya to repin the connectors on my stock harness plugs, then just plug them into the new ecu. However, the plugs dont match up to the new ecu in ANY way. heres pics of the ecu:

The bottom ecu is the stock one, the top one is the new ecu:

Heres the label on the new ecu:

Did someone sell me the wrong ecu? Am I missing something here?

What motor are you swapping in?

If its an obd1 motor, then you'll need an obd1 ecu.

If its just an obd0 motor, you'll need an obd0 ecu.

The DPFI to MPFI conversion requires 4 wires into the engine bay. 2 for the extra injectors, and 2 for the dizzy (iirc it's been a while since I swapped out my old d15b2 for a sohc zc).

I had to use a PM6 ecu. Not P06. P06 is an obd1 ecu from a 92-95 DX/S model delsol.
