is anyone here uses a missing link under their map sensor? i once as told that if you're using a apexi vafc you must remove the link.

i believe you need to use the link if you have the apexi vafc but i could be wrong. im not sure i go the chipped ecu way.

Ive never used a VAFC so I dont know about that, although I dont see why it would be needed. I do know they are typically used with FMU's and/or when someone exceeds the capability of the stock MAP sensor and is too lazy/cheap to buy a 3 bar. Whatever the application, there are better options out there, Id stay away from them.

If got chrome chipped ecu, stock map sensor should be good for 10psi but, I'm running 10psi and I get a code, I'm thinking baout swap in back the missing link
it will fuck up your tune since it hides boost pressure from the ecu.

id run one with the vafc because mine threw a code at 7 psi with the vafc2.
